Welcoming Our Global Scholarship Winners to Alliance 2026 in Orlando

Alliance 2026 is shaping up to be a truly global experience, and we are thrilled to welcome our five Global Scholarship winners who will be joining us in Orlando as both attendees and presenters. Representing institutions from around the world, these recipients embody the spirit of collaboration, learning, and innovation that defines Alliance. 

Their excitement and perspectives highlight exactly why Alliance continues to bring the global higher education community together. 

Here is what each of our Global Scholarship winners is most looking forward to at Alliance 2026. 

Caitlin AndersonUniversity of Auckland 
Caitlin is most energized by the opportunity to connect with peers and learn from institutions across regions. 

“I’m most excited about the peer engagement. I love chatting and learning more about how other institutions operate, and it looks like some really fascinating presentations this year!” 

Alliance 2026 also provides a meaningful platform for sharing the work happening in her region. 

“Being able to represent University of Auckland at Alliance 2026 is a great chance to shine a light on the work we’re doing in the South Pacific.” 

Yen Teck KongSingapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS) 
For Yen Teck, Alliance is a powerful space for global exchange and discovery. 

“Although each institution is unique, these interactions consistently offer fresh perspectives that I can adapt to benefit my own institution.” 

He also sees Alliance as an opportunity to explore what’s next for higher education systems and solutions. 

“The conference is an excellent platform to discover potential systems and solutions for my institution.” 

Moby OnuohaMcMaster University 
Moby values Alliance as a place where shared challenges turn into shared solutions. 

“Alliance conferences give me a unique opportunity to network, benchmark, and confirm that many of the challenges institutions face across higher education institutions are shared rather than unique.” 

Winning the scholarship creates space for reflection and growth. 

“I am looking forward to stepping back from daily operations, reflecting strategically, and deepening my practice alongside peers and solution providers.” 

Nilgun AgatUniversity of Manchester 
For Nilgun, Alliance 2026 represents both a long-anticipated opportunity and a chance to give back to the community. 

“I’m especially excited about presenting at Alliance 2026 and being part of such a strong global community of Campus Solutions professionals.” 

The scholarship plays an important role in her continued professional development. 

“Winning this scholarship is very meaningful for my professional growth, as it allows me to engage more actively with the wider HE community, build connections, and continue developing as a solutions architect in higher education.” 

Dinesh PillayUniversity of the Witwatersrand 
Dinesh is looking forward to hands-on learning and practical takeaways he can bring back to his organization. 

“The conference offers hands-on sessions and real-world case studies that will deepen my understanding of emerging technologies and best practices, enabling me to bring fresh, practical insights back to my organization.” 

Receiving the scholarship is a defining moment in his professional journey.
