What problem were you most excited to help institutions solve by sponsoring Alliance?
Higher education teams are being asked to do more with less, while students expect an experience that is as simple as any other digital transaction. We sponsor Alliance because we want to help institutions reduce financial friction for students and reduce operational burden for staff, from payment plans and refunds to campus-wide notifications and day to-day cashiering workflows. When payments and communications work smoothly, institutions spend less time troubleshooting and more time supporting student success.
What conversations or challenges are you hoping to have with higher ed leaders during the event?
We’re excited to talk about what’s most pressing right now: affordability and access,
staffing constraints, fraud and risk mitigation, and the push to modernize administrative systems without disrupting campus operations. We also want to learn how leaders are approaching AI responsibly, where automation helps (and where it creates new complexity), and what “better” looks like for the student financial experience across diverse populations and needs.
How does your organization support long term success for higher education beyond a single implementation or contract?
We measure success by outcomes over time, not go-live dates. We stay close to our
clients through ongoing support, training, and continuous improvement, and we also build with them, not just for them. Through our Client Advisory Board and Product Advisory Board, higher ed leaders directly influence our roadmap, helping ensure our innovation stays practical, trusted, and aligned with student success. That community-driven approach helps us optimize the staff and student experience over the long term, so together we can empower students and help make educational dreams possible.
What trends or shifts in higher education are influencing how your team is investing or innovating right now?
Rising expectations for self-service and transparency, tighter staffing and budgets, and increasing pressure around fraud, privacy, and compliance are shaping how campuses operate. Institutions are also modernizing complex ecosystems, so interoperability and change management matter more than ever. We’re investing in purposeful innovation informed by community feedback, using insights from our advisory boards and day-to-day client collaboration to reduce effort for campus teams and create clearer, safer, more student-friendly experiences.
Why was Alliance the right place for your team to show up this year?
Alliance is where higher education professionals come to compare notes, share what’s working, and move the community forward, regardless of product or platform. That member-driven spirit and the scale of collaboration are exactly why we’re showing up. We’re here to listen, learn, and build what comes next with the community, so institutions can serve students even better.
