While vendor events showcase polished roadmaps, HEUG is where practitioners share what really works across platforms. We are an independent voice. The HEUG community is where you can hear real stories, not curated marketing but honest accounts from people who have been in the trenches, solved problems, and found ways forward.
Our roots may be in PeopleSoft, but our community has grown far beyond that. HEUG supports you no matter which platform you are on, Oracle, Workday, Ellucian, or others. Technology is always evolving, and HEUG evolves with it. What does not change is our mission: to connect members across the globe with the knowledge, support, and collaboration they need to succeed.

What makes Alliance powerful is that it is built by the community, for the community. The Call for Proposals is now open, and this is your chance to contribute. Whether you have streamlined a process, tackled a tough challenge, or discovered new ways to deliver value, your peers want to learn from you.

A Global Community : Regionals in ANZ , Asia, and Europe
Our strength comes not just from one gathering, but from our presence worldwide. HEUG hosts international regionals in Australia New Zealand, Asia, and Europe, welcoming more than 1,000 attendees each year. These events create opportunities for members to connect closer to home while still being part of a global network.
Maggie Maseka recently retired from the University of the Witwatersrand describes it best:
