The HEUG is pleased to announce that Renee Riley, HRIS Associate Director for Payroll and Benefits at the University of Missouri System Office, has been elected as HEUG President-Elect. Renee will assume the presidency at Alliance 2027 in San Antonio.
Renee has been a part of this community for years and has done the work at every level. She chaired the HCM advisory group, spent four years on the Alliance Program Team, led Alliance 2023 in St. Louis as Program Chair, and has served on the HEUG Board of Directors since 2024, where she helped drive the organization’s transition to Communities of Practice.
Her priorities as president reflect where higher education actually is right now. Institutions are navigating more complex technology environments, tighter budgets, and a lot of open questions around AI. Renee is focused on making sure HEUG is a useful, relevant community for members through all of it.
Please join us in congratulating Renee!
